Textron Aviation presents best and final offer to International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) District 70, Local Lodge 774
Textron Aviation Inc. today presented its best and final offer to the union negotiating committee of District 70, Local Lodge 774 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM). Following six weeks of negotiating in good faith, the company’s contract offer recognizes employees’ hard work, dedication and commitment to excellence.
- 26% general wage increase over the life of the contract with a 11% wage increase immediately upon ratification
- 4% wage increase in 2025, 5% wage increase in 2026 and 6% wage increase in 2027
- This is in addition to the 4% general wage increase that was added mid-contract in 2022
- Cost of living adjustment maximum increase from $700 to $1,500 per year
- Guaranteed $3,000 lump-sum payment every year of the contract
- New longevity pay
- No-deductible health insurance premiums will not increase from 2025-2028
- Maximum 3% increase on low-deductible and high-deductible health insurance premiums annually
- Textron Savings Plan (401k) 50% company match increases to 9%
- Duration of the contract is four years
- Commitment to maintain major manufacturing operations in Wichita

Bargained employees will vote on the contract offer on Saturday, September 21, 2024. The current contract expires at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, 2024.
