See below for guidelines for crossing picket lines at Textron Aviation Wichita Facilities. Please allow enough time to enter the facility safely as a picket line will impact the time it takes to enter the campus. Be patient, remain calm and treat everyone with dignity and respect.
Key Points
1. Do not engage with the picketers.
a. Do not make offensive remarks/gestures and do not threaten or use force or violence.
b. Keep the windows and doors closed to your vehicle.
2. Do not attempt to force a path through the picket line.
a. Wait patiently for the picketers to clear a path or for security or law enforcement personnel to assist if necessary.
3. Do not make left turns entering campus.
a. Only enter the property with a right turn as indicated on the Business Continuation Campus Maps.
b. Do not park across the street and try to enter campus on foot.
4. Do not take pictures or videos of any picket line activity.
a. Do not post pictures, videos or comments about the picket line on social media channels.
Additional Information
1. Using your turn signal tells security personnel and picketers your intention to enter the property.
2. Drive slowly when approaching a picket line and come to a complete stop when you reach it.
a. The picketers should clear a path for your vehicle and allow you to enter or leave the campus.

4. Report any threats against yourself and/or damage to your vehicle to Security at 316-517-6911.
a. If you have problems as you are leaving the property, do not attempt re-enter to make a report.
b. Proceed to your destination and call Textron Aviation Security.
c. If your vehicle is damaged, do not stop and do not get out of your vehicle.
d. Security will complete a security incident report and if needed, will conduct an interview and take a written statement along with photos of any damage or evidence.
e. If you are off property and experience an emergency, call 911 then notify Textron Aviation Security.
